WELCOME TO OUR GUEST BOOK
Review websites are now an integral part of the travel industry and booking process but recent concerns about them being manipulated by service providers are a worry. By posting your comments about venues, properties and Westway Travel I can assure you of two things.

1) The right people will see them. By this I mean either you, Westway clients or other travellers will read reviews from like minded local people.
2) I will personally be following all comments and will add my thoughts to all postings.

Remember we are independent of all Tour Operators and hotels and have no bias towards any product range. It is my staffs’ job to make sure you experience the best holiday possible.

I thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the guest book.

Returned from our holiday yesterday and just wanted to say thanks to Michelle at Thorpe Bay.
We had a fabulous time, both The Atlantis in Dubai and La Pirogue in Mauritius were amazing. The staff at both resorts were polite, friendly and worked so hard to make our stay special. We had a beachfront bungalow at La Pirogue and I only wish I could wake up to that view every day!
The transfers worked like a dream, we were met by friendly staff at each point and I would definitely recommend Emirates, flights and service was great and we were lucky to be upgraded to Business Class for the last leg back to the UK – fantastic!
Swimming with Dolphins was brilliant in Dubai and we did a boat trip in Mauritius and swam in the sea with them as well. We also did a trip to Walk with Lions at Casela Nature Park– which was also an amazing experience that I would recommend.
It really was the holiday of a lifetime!
Thanks again
Kind regards
Jan, Kev & Aimee d'Eca

:D We booked last minute at the Wickford nranch. We were originally helped by Faith then by Maggie. We have just come back from a week in Skiathos. We had a great time, the resort was so lovely and the boys spent most of their time in the fabulous pool. It was a great place for children and we would definitely visit again and definitely book our next family holiday with Westway Travel. Thank you.

Many thanks to Claire King at the Thorpe Bay office for arranging my 4 night holiday in Mallorca. Claire made an excellent choice for me, choosing the Blau Mediterranean Hotel situated on Sa Coma beach. The room was clean and modern and I had a large twin room for single occupancy at no extra cost. On arrival I was upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony (which was a real bonus) and all down to Claire who had asked the hotel to look after me – this they certainly did. The reception staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was beautiful, as was the beach (soft white sand and clear blue sea, perfect for swimming, very safe).I stayed half board and the food in the hotel was fabulous – spoilt for choice.
An excellent service from Westway - nothing was too much trouble and I will be booking again shortly. Thank you Claire.

Ian Prior reply: Sue

Wow, thanks for your kind comments. I will make sure Claire gets a pat on the back for her hard work

Majorca is sometimes overlooked as a holiday choice but hopefully some of our clients will take up your recommendation and give the island a try

Thanks for taking the time to complete our guest book and I hope we can be of help again

Regards

Ian

Belated comments on this holiday taken in April, and thanks to Maxine for organising the trip. The hotel L'Horizon was wonderful and as this was our second visit it lived up to our expectations. Sea views and service were great would go again.

Ian Prior reply: Great to hear you had a most enjoyable time in Jersey and also that Maxine really looked after you. I hope the next time you consider going Southend Airport will offer a wider choice of flights as the convenience this airport offers is second to noneThanks for taking the time to comment on our guest Book and I hope the team at Upminster can be of help to you again

Claire King of the Thorpe Bay office arranged our stay at Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa. We stayed at Sarilli Lodge, the accommodation was perfect, only 3 guest rooms, food and service fantastic. Our game driver from the lodge was outstanding. We then flew to La Victoria in Mauritius, very nice hotel, caters for children as we had our 6 year-old grandson with us, so Claire made a very good choice for us. Kids club for children and miles of golden beach.

As we live in America this was all arranged with Claire by email or phone. We cannot thank her enough for planning this trip.

Ian Prior reply: I was so pleased to hear that you had a super time in South Africa. A Safari experience was my best holiday but you have to be careful that it doesn’t become infectious as the different choices of different game to see is really wide. I will make sure that Claire knows how pleased you are with her help and I hope she can be of service to you again next time you travel on this side of the Atlantic.

The service from Westway and its staff was exemplary in booking this cruise which was generally excellent. P&O accommodation, service, ports of call, catering and entertainment are all strongly recommended. P&O do a first class job of looking after disabled, handicapped, elderly and single passengers and ensuring they have a well-deserved holiday but together with their policy of "no children or young people" this means a preponderance of OAPs many with limited mobility. This leads to plenty of decorum but not as much fun as a "family friendly" cruise. We are long-standing P & O customers but will not choose a "no families" cruise again.

Ian Prior reply: Trevor and Kathleen

I was pleased to see you enjoyed your cruise and found our service excellent. Also your comments about the Adult only ship concept were very interesting and I shall have a chat with our team to make sure we set clients expectations correctly

Thanks again for taking the time to comment it is greatly appreciated and I hope we can be of help in the future

Always get excellent service from Westway - they are always happy to the extra mile to make things easier. Thanks Jenny for the arranging this last trip and making it so easy. Next time could you fix the weather as well please?

Ian Prior reply: June should have been okay so it is a shame to hear about the weather. However I am really happy Jenny looked after you really well and I will make sure she gets a pat on the back Thanks for taking the time to sign into our guestbook and I hope my team at Upminster can be of help again

We have recently returned from a week at the Pioneer Beach Hotel in Paphos, which was recommended by Faith at Wickford Westway Travel. The hotel exceeded expectation and the staff there were professional and yet really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was excptional. The whole holiday went smoothly from flights to transfers. Would definitely book again. Thanks all at Westway, Wickford.

Ian Prior reply: I am so pleased to see that a recommendation by Faith worked really well for you. I am sure she has spoken to you all ready but I will make sure she knows how well she has done.

A long weekend in Budapest and a great time. Before going we booked a classical concert at the concert hall followed by dinner on the Danube, a good experience. Other evenings we spent at a Hungarian restaurant with a small theatre and a folk concert, and an Argentinian restaurant with music and salsa dancing. So our evenings were full and enjoyable. The daytimes were equally full, we purchased a hop-on hop-off ticket for two days so managed to get around well. We saw the Central Market, visited Heroes Square and park and Margaret Island Park where we took a two person bicycle type vehicle around the park, great fun. Then of course there was the Buda Castle, Gelert Hill, the Chain Bridge, the Parliament, the Opera House and St Stephens Basilica. Maxine booked us into a nice hotel and all in all it was a wonderful few days.

Ian Prior reply: Good to hear you had a great holiday. Budapest is getting lots of interest this year and I hope your comments inspire a lot of our clients to give the city a try.

I was struggling to overcome challenges to getting my nephew a work visa for China - and then Sharn at Westway, Upminster, took care of business! Visa and flights arranged in a friendly and thoroughly professional manner. The only regret is that I didn't come to them sooner.

Ian Prior reply: I was pleased to hear Sharn was of help and I will make sure ske understands how much her efforts are appreciated.
