WELCOME TO OUR GUEST BOOK
Review websites are now an integral part of the travel industry and booking process but recent concerns about them being manipulated by service providers are a worry. By posting your comments about venues, properties and Westway Travel I can assure you of two things.

1) The right people will see them. By this I mean either you, Westway clients or other travellers will read reviews from like minded local people.
2) I will personally be following all comments and will add my thoughts to all postings.

Remember we are independent of all Tour Operators and hotels and have no bias towards any product range. It is my staffs’ job to make sure you experience the best holiday possible.

I thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the guest book.

Belated comments on this holiday taken in April, and thanks to Maxine for organising the trip. The hotel L'Horizon was wonderful and as this was our second visit it lived up to our expectations. Sea views and service were great would go again.

Claire King of the Thorpe Bay office arranged our stay at Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa. We stayed at Sarilli Lodge, the accommodation was perfect, only 3 guest rooms, food and service fantastic. Our game driver from the lodge was outstanding. We then flew to La Victoria in Mauritius, very nice hotel, caters for children as we had our 6 year-old grandson with us, so Claire made a very good choice for us. Kids club for children and miles of golden beach.

As we live in America this was all arranged with Claire by email or phone. We cannot thank her enough for planning this trip.

The service from Westway and its staff was exemplary in booking this cruise which was generally excellent. P&O accommodation, service, ports of call, catering and entertainment are all strongly recommended. P&O do a first class job of looking after disabled, handicapped, elderly and single passengers and ensuring they have a well-deserved holiday but together with their policy of "no children or young people" this means a preponderance of OAPs many with limited mobility. This leads to plenty of decorum but not as much fun as a "family friendly" cruise. We are long-standing P & O customers but will not choose a "no families" cruise again.

I was pleased to see you enjoyed your cruise and found our service excellent. Also your comments about the Adult only ship concept were very interesting and I shall have a chat with our team to make sure we set clients expectations correctly

Thanks again for taking the time to comment it is greatly appreciated and I hope we can be of help in the future

We have recently returned from a week at the Pioneer Beach Hotel in Paphos, which was recommended by Faith at Wickford Westway Travel. The hotel exceeded expectation and the staff there were professional and yet really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was excptional. The whole holiday went smoothly from flights to transfers. Would definitely book again. Thanks all at Westway, Wickford.

A long weekend in Budapest and a great time. Before going we booked a classical concert at the concert hall followed by dinner on the Danube, a good experience. Other evenings we spent at a Hungarian restaurant with a small theatre and a folk concert, and an Argentinian restaurant with music and salsa dancing. So our evenings were full and enjoyable. The daytimes were equally full, we purchased a hop-on hop-off ticket for two days so managed to get around well. We saw the Central Market, visited Heroes Square and park and Margaret Island Park where we took a two person bicycle type vehicle around the park, great fun. Then of course there was the Buda Castle, Gelert Hill, the Chain Bridge, the Parliament, the Opera House and St Stephens Basilica. Maxine booked us into a nice hotel and all in all it was a wonderful few days.

I was struggling to overcome challenges to getting my nephew a work visa for China - and then Sharn at Westway, Upminster, took care of business! Visa and flights arranged in a friendly and thoroughly professional manner. The only regret is that I didn't come to them sooner.

This is the second holiday we have booked through Jenny and the team at the Upminster office. As we have come to expect from the Upminster office they could not have been more professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is this standard of service which means that we will definitely be back when thinking about our next holiday and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

We enjoyed another really relaxing holiday at a fantastic hotel with great facilities, albeit that it did lack in service a little at times.

Thank you. :!cool:

I have used Faith in the Wickford branch for many years now and I never have to worry about anything regarding my booking, she is so efficient and covers everything. I recently stayed at this gorgeous boutique hotel in Spain, I have previously found supposed 5* hotels in Spain below par but this hotel was exceptional. From the minute I arrived the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had been upgraded from a deluxe room to a duplex suite! Even though the hotel was full, there were always sun beds available with fresh towels provided, there were even call buttons on the table should you require a drink whilst sunbathing! The pool was a little chilly as it's not quite summer but, some guests were brave enough to get in. The nearby outdoor jacuzzi was a nice temp and there was also an indoor spa pool with sauna and steam room. Although I would say the hotel is aimed at adults, children weren't frowned upon, they were allowed in the spa pool between 11 and 12. They also offer children's massage in the spa which my 9 year old daughter was excited to have for the first time. She was also loving the fact that on Sat and Sun there is a chocolate fountain at the breakfast buffet. Breakfast offered many options and the coffee was great. We ate here on our last evening and the dinner was delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone and will return very soon! Thanks Faith x
